TELKOM Celebrated its Anniversary with New Identity and Business Portfolio

TELKOM (PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk) introduced its new logo.This is the old logo:

Jakarta, October 23, 2009 – Celebration of Anniversary of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) on October 23, 2009 has a special meaning, because together with the anniversary, Telkom has declared a new identity as symbol of Telkom’s business transformation from InfoCom to T.I.M.E (Telecommunication, Information, Media and Edutainment). The anniversary celebration and Grand Launch of New Telkom have been packed in an interesting event among others introducing technology of Augmented Reality [1] firstly broadcasted live in Indonesia.

The Telkom’s anniversary celebration is different this time, this day is confirmation of Telkom’s business transformation from only InfoCom to T.I.M.E, explained President Director of Telkom, Rinaldi Firmansyah, when attending the Grand Launch New Telkom Indonesia, in Jakarta today (23/10).

As explained by Rinaldi Firmansyah, as the only T.I.M.E company in Indonesia, Telkom will try hard to present T.I.M.E service to all residentials and corporation in Indonesia. This is in line with the new positioning of Telkom as Life Confident, and tag line ‘the World in Your Hand’ which means expertise and dedication for the progress and will give assurance for all users to support their life wherever they are, he explained.

By the new identity and business portfolio, Telkom also has new values. To respond to the future challenge, Telkom makes thorough and fundamental transformation. Transformation this time which is very big along Telkom’s history, because of fundamental basis, thorough and integrated involving four basic aspects of the company, that is, Transformation in Business, Transformation in Infrastructure, Transformation in System and Operating Model and Transformation in Human Resources.

Business transformasi in Telkom is inevitable. Anywhere in the world, PSTN ( Public Switch Telephone Network ) based wireline service is facing a declining phase in line with the change of lifestyle of the community, and therefore needs to revitalize.

That is the reason, Telkom then makes business transformation by referring to the T.I.M.E (T elecommunication, Information, M edia, and Edutainment based services) concept to keep sustainable competitive growth. To anticipate future lifestyle, Telkom turns from Separate Providers to Single Provider so that T.I.M.E is decided as new business portofolio.

Telkom Anniversary
Telkom has decided its anniversary on the 23^rd of October. This decision refers to the first operation of elektromagnetic telegraph connecting Batavia (now Jakarta) and Buitenzorg (Bogor) on October 23,r 1856. Based on such historical consideration Telkom decides to commemorate such day as the 153^rd anniversary..

Meanwhile, in the Telkom 153^rd anniversary, the government through Department of Communication and Information present the award to Ericsson as telecommunication company partner that has built Indonesia together since 104 years ago. The appreciation to Ericsson, according to Vice President Public and Marketing Communication Telkom, Eddy Kurnia, refers to the pioneer and partnership run so long in Indonesia.

Indigo Award
Together with the Aanniversary and Grand Launch New Telkom Indonesia on October 23, 2009, Telkom presented Indigo Award to digital creative industry individuals in Indonesia. The Indigo Award is an annual event participated by all creative industry considered successful and give benefit to the community, environment and able to support and create new business opportunity. Those receiving the Indigo Awards have been selected through such programs as Indigo Fellow, Indigo Fellowship, TeSCA (Telkom Smart Campus), Indigo Music Awards and Song Creation and Islamic Lyrics Competition.

The Malings Kuburans

Film yang sutradarai Dwi Ilalang, yang sebelumnya menggarap film Sang Dewi, menggaet sejumlah aktor komedi dalam filmnya tersebut, seperti Indra Birowo, Yton (Itong) Club 80’s, Tessy, hingga Heri Savalas.

Film yang juga dibintangi Donita dan penyanyi Syahrini ini, berkisah tentang Niko (diperankan Indra Birowo) dan Imen (Yton) yang terpaksa menjadi maling kuburan dadakan untuk menebus warisan kedua ayah mereka, yang ternyata juga berprofesi sebagai maling kuburan. Usaha mereka untuk menjadi maling kuburan, tidaklah mudah. Apalagi ketika mereka berhasil mendapatkan peta lokasi kuburan yang justru telah berubah menjadi bangunan asrama kesusteran putri.

Dari sinilah, usaha menghadirkan keseraman dan kelucuan ditawarkan. Mereka dihadang para penunggu asrama yang merasa terusik dengan kehadiran mereka.

Dalam film tersebut, Indra Birowo memerankan karakter yang ceplas-ceplos, sedangkan Yton berperan sebagai orang yang kerap jadi sasaran kambing hitam para temannya. Mereka berdua bersahabat karib, yang kerjanya hanya bersenang-senang sampai seorang bos mafia menculik mereka dan membuka identitas ayah mereka masing-masing.

Donita dan Syahrini, kehadirannya menjadi bumbu. Mereka berperan sebagai mahasiswi calon perawat. “Di sini saya berperan sebagai Karyn, karakternya cenderung serius dan pemikir,” jelas Donita. Berbeda dengan Donita yang tampil sporty, agak tomboi, seksi namun sering terjebak di situasi konyol, Syahrini justru mendapat peran sebaliknya. Ia memerankan tokoh Ayu yang berisik, telat mikir dan rada o’on.

The movie with relatively semi-high ratings and a semi-impressive cast has been DVDRipped. Ryan Reynolds is a highlight while Bullock is not so much, in my opinion. The video and audio quality is fine; nothing to complain about really at first glance. Enjoy this release !

When the government investigates, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska in order to sell the lie. The family suggest they could marry the same weekend, and they reluctantly accept. They start to fall genuinely in love as they spend more and more time together. Because of this, during the wedding ceremony, Margaret decides she cannot do this to Andrew and confesses the business arrangement in front of everyone–including the immigration officer handling their case. She is then told that she has 24 hours to get back to Canada, and thus goes back to New York to pack her things. Upon doing so, however, Andrew shows up at the office and confesses his love for her in front of the entire office staff, proposing marriage all over again.
